The Challenge

The Hidden Problem in Youth Sports Training

Today's young athletes practice their sport more than ever — more practices, more games, more tournaments. But many are still struggling with lack of speed and explosiveness, poor coordination and balance, recurring minor injuries, and frustration during competition. The issue usually isn't effort. The problem is that most programs focus entirely on sport-specific skills while the physical foundation that supports those skills is overlooked.

  • Limited physical development
  • Increased injury risk

Skill + Athletic Development

Purpose-Built

Designed Specifically for Developing Athletes

This program isn't adult-style training adapted for kids. Every SURGE session is designed specifically for young athletes who are still growing and developing.

Athletes learn proper sprint mechanics, safe strength training techniques, balance, coordination, and body control, and movement patterns that support injury resilience.

Sessions run in small groups so every athlete receives coaching, feedback, and encouragement.

Meet the Coaches

Brandon and Courtney have spent more than 16 years helping athletes train, move better, and stay strong. Both competed as collegiate athletes. They noticed too many young athletes develop sport skills without ever building the physical foundation that supports them — leading to preventable injuries, slower development, and burnout.

As parents of two young athletes, they created SURGE to be safe, encouraging, challenging, and development-focused.
